We're leaving on a jet plane.....

Well not exactly....

It's not really a jet plane & we won't be going anywhere in it for a while...just Daddy!

Michael bought a Beachcraft C23 Sundowner airplane last week. He is getting ready to start flying lessons & wanted to learn in his own plane. We have a family friend that has his pilot's license and he & Michael took the plane up tonight for the first time. The babies & I went to the airport before they took off to see the new plane. I had planned on staying to see them takeoff for the first time, but the babies were getting fussy & they wouldn't be taking off for a while, so I settled with a few pictures on the ground! Look at my handsome hubby! He is so excited about this flying business...to be honest, it makes me nervous & it is going to take me a while to get used to it! I have been a nervous wreck tonight worrying about them, but he just called & they had just landed safely. Thank you Lord!!! I know this is something he really wants to do, so I am going to try & be as supportive as I can be!

 I love you baby & I am so proud of you!!!

Another tooth...

Miss Haddie cut her second tooth today! Her bottom right tooth popped through! She is a little toot when I try to look in her mouth. She doesn't like it one bit!! But I finally got a good look this afternoon!

Rubber Duckies

We got the pool out again yesterday evening...C&H could have cared less about being in the water...they just wanted their rubber duckies to chew on! Can we say that teething is in full force at our house??? They would both scream when they would drop them, but were so happy when they had them in their mouths!! We didn't stay out long...mosquitos were swarming us!! C&H didn't get one bite (thank goodness), but I got eaten up!!! Not fun...mosquitos are the one thing I hate about summertime!!!! This pretty much sums up our morning! Miss Hadley is not a happy girl!

But I know why....she got her first tooth!!! Her bottom left tooth is barely poking through & her bottom right tooth will probably pop through sometime today or tomorrow! I fixed her up with some Orajel & some Tylenol & she is taking a good nap now. I hope she will feel better after her nap!

I knew her teeth would be in soon...I swear, her fingers haven't left her mouth in the past week! Here are just a few pics from this morning to prove it!!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July weekend at Lake Ouachita! We took the babies out on the lake for a few hours on Saturday morning & they loved it! The rest of the time they stayed at the condo with their MiMi & Great-Grandmother. Michael's uncle, cousin, & her son were in town from CA and we had such a great time visiting with them! I took very few pictures, but here are a few!
