Our Night Away!

Michael & I got back from a little anniversary trip to Northwest Arkansas this afternoon! We went & stayed at Inn at the Mill, where we spent our wedding night! We ate some great food, did a little shopping, and really enjoyed our time alone! Thanks so much to my parents & my nieces, Sophie & Turner Grace, for taking such good care of C&H while we were away!

Lately, Cooper has been 'singing' alot! It is hilarious! He had been singing for a while once I grabbed my camera for this video...he usually starts off really soft & keeps getting louder....by this point, he was pretty loud!

I was changing C&H's crib sheets the other morning & they both wanted in H's crib! They were having so much fun...and we are really working on 'please'!!!

Today we are celebrating 8 wonderful years of marriage! I couldn't have asked for a better partner to spend the rest of my life with! Thanks for being the best husband, father, & provider for our family! I am more in love with you today than the day I married you! You have always been my rock in difficult times & I am so thankful that we've stood side by side through thick & thin! I love you from the deepest depths of my heart!

Lazy Day

I took these one morning last week when we stayed home in our PJs all day! I just love days like this! Hadley's PJs are probably my favorite ones she had ever had....I LOVE them & she is about to outgrow them! :( I wish I had bought some in every size! And I promise we didn't leave the house with her hair like this! She brought me a rubberband earlier that morning & I just had to get that hair out of her eyes!

Jumping in Mud Puddles!!!

As I have said before on here, Cooper is ALL-BOY!!! I just found these pics on Michael's phone that I snapped a few weeks ago. C&H & I were going some where and we walked out to the barn to tell Daddy where we were going. As Michael & I were talking, we look over & Cooper was running through the mud puddles and before we knew it, he was sitting in it and was covered in mud! Hadley just stood there watching her crazy brother...she wanted nothing to do with it! Needless to say, we had a quick bath before we headed out!!! :)

I think I better get used to this....I know this is probably one of many, many more messes this boy will make!!!!

Wordless Wednesday-"Practice Potty Sitting"

{Almost} Wordless Wednesday! I am by no means pushing this issue....I am just trying to get them used to sitting on the potty, so during diaper changes if they are interested they get to sit on the potty. Hadley is way more interested than Cooper which is to be expected! She still tells us almost everytime she poo-poos...I think she will be fairly easy to potty train....we'll see!

REALITY!!

I feel like I am so behind on blogging with all that's going on lately, but I just had to share this picture with you this morning! If you are a FB friend, you have already seen it, but alot of you haven't! This picture makes my heart burst with joy to see my children walking into school holding hands and getting excited about what's on the ceiling! Many years ago, I longed for moments like these....and they are finally a reality! Somedays, I still can't believe these two are ours!!!

Hadley ❤'s Pogee!

My grandmother, Pogee, is one of the most amazing women I have ever known. I am so thankful that C&H are getting to know her! They both get excited to see her, but lately Hadley really has wanted her Pogee!!! I adore these pics of them!

Our Trip to PETCO!

The other day we had to kill some time so we decided to walk over to PETCO to see some animals. C&H loved it...especially the fish! We will be going back for sure!

Wordless Wednesday-BOO!!

First Day of Mother's Day Out

Today was C&H's first day of Mother's Day Out! I am so glad they had no clue what they were doing or where they were going because I think I was nervous enough for all of us! I was worried about them throwing fits, and not wanting to eat, or nap, but they did great! Cooper went in & started playing right away, but Hadley was a little clingy. We got her attention on a play kitchen and Michael & I snuck out & I heard her start fussing once we were in the hallway! I couldn't quit worrying that she was still upset, so I decided to call & check on them...& they reassured me they both were doing great...so I enjoyed the rest of the day! When I picked them up, they were playing so well, & were so excited to see me! They said their favorite part of the day was going on a walk outside and said numerous times what good eaters they were...AND they napped! I was so happy! It was a successful first day & I hope they are excited to go back on Wednesday!!!

I realized looking back at pics from the day...this is the only one of them even looking in my direction :( Isn't that horrible?? I am almost embarrassed to post it due to the dirty door!

19 Months Old!

July 11, 2010...already?

5 months away from 2 years old, seriously??

I cannot believe C&H are getting so big...so fast!

Here they are playing in the water tonight after dinner! They LOVE the water! I am loving C's saggy diaper!! :)

And them getting all clean in the bath tonight! Bathtime = Happy babies!

Happy 19 Months Sweet Babies!

Rosemary Beach 2010 - Day 7 & 8

Last beach post...I promise!!

Day 7-Our last full day of vacation was by far the prettiest day we had & we had a blast on the beach! Hadley was finally feeling better and her & Cooper both had a ball playing in the sand!

Day 8 was spent traveling home. We woke up about 5 am & were in the air by around 7 am. C&H were asleep within the first 10 minutes of our flight and slept until our pit stop in Meridian, MS. When we arrived in Meridian, we discovered that FS was getting hit pretty hard by a storm & it didn't look like it was letting up anytime soon, so we decided to fly into Little Rock & see how the weather was then. It still wasn't any better by that time, so we decided to rent a car & drive the last stretch home. We stopped & got lunch in LR. C&H ate and then fell right to sleep and slept most of the way home. We had a wonderful vacation with my family, but 'there's no place like home'!!! We all slept so well in our own beds that night and C&H have slept in till 8:30-10 all week long since we have been home!!!! :)
