Wordless Wednesday: Watching the fire!

Making Ornaments!

I meant make these ornaments before Christmas so that we could put them on our Christmas tree, but I never found the time...better late than never! At least we will have them for next year! I so wish I had done this as newborns, and 1 year olds too...so that we could see how much they have grown! C&H had so much fun painting their hands and feet...and we actually didn't make a mess at all! I think they turned out precious!

Hadley wanted her doll to go next...silly girl!!

Sleeping Angels!

Knock on wood....C&H have been sleeping so GOOD lately! Today they took a 3 1/2 hour nap before I woke them up after 4! I figured they would go to sleep tonight if I let them sleep any longer! I had to snap a few pics when I went in to get them up! I love me some sleeping babies!

Performing!

C&H crack me up daily with the things they do and say! This particular day they were really 'performing' for me so I grabbed my camera! I am so going to miss this age!

Christmas Toys

After Christmas, C&H had so much stuff that I put some stuff up simply because we didn't have room for it all! I pulled a few things out this week and surprised them with some of their new toys! During nap time one day, I set up their tent/tunnel and they were so excited when they woke up! C was up first...

Then Miss H woke up...

They even had to eat their snack inside the tent!

Another day, I set up this riding train & they LOVED it...especially Cooper! He is obsessed with 'choo-choos'!!!

Lazy Days!

As C&H get older, I cherish our lazy days much more! We have been having them much more often lately because of the cold weather outside! I just love this picture that Michael snapped of us snuggling under a blanket watching TV!

Daddy's snuggles!

Every night after bath time, I dry one child off and tell them to go to their room to get their diaper & PJs on while I get the other out of the bath! I get the other dried off and tell them the same thing while I get the bathtub cleaned up. Instead of going to their room and waiting on me, they climb up in their Daddy's lap and watch TV for a second...naked booties and all! I had been wanting to get a picture of it, so I had my camera ready this particular night...C stayed like this while Daddy rocked him while I got H dressed in her PJs. He will probably kill me someday for posting this, but it's those special moments like this that I want to remember ALWAYS!

Bathing Beauties!

Outdoors before the snow!

A couple of days ago when I heard snow and temps in the 20s would soon be here to stay for a while, I got C&H out to play in the yard before the snow. Even though it was a little chilly, we all had a good time and are now stuck indoors with the cold & wet weather outside...yuck! We didn't get enough snow to go out & 'play' in it...so we have just enjoyed from the window! I am so ready for Spring already!

I must apologize again for my lack of blogging...I seem to get behind and it's just hard to get caught back up! With the holidays, trying to recuperate, and spending all my spare time on my Christmas present (more on that later!) have made me put blogging on the back burner...excuses, excuses, I know!
