My First Baby!!

Since the babies have been born, several people have commented on how they never see pictures of Charlie anymore...hhhmmm, I wonder why?? But he is still my baby & spoiled rotten as ever!!

After 32 years of teaching school, my Mom is retiring at the end of the school year! She is SO excited & so am I! We met in her classroom yesterday to go through the millions of books she has accumulated over the years! It brought back so many memories because I kept coming across books that I remember reading when I was a little girl...sure enough, I would open them up & there was my name. I am so happy to have these back so that my kids can read them some day! Look at all these...& she just called & said I left a stack in her room, so there are even more!!

All of these are Bernstein Bears books...I L.O.V.E.D these books...does anyone else remember these??

And my all time favorite book ever...Love You Forever....by Robert Munch...you must read this if you haven't ever!!!

Thank you so much Mom! I am so happy to have these for Cooper & Hadley....I see lots of hours of reading in the upcoming years!!!

Playtime

The babies have really been trying to grab things, so I put them in their Bumbo seats today with a toy in front of them to see if they would grab for it.

Neither one of them would reach out to the middle, so I put it in front of Hadley first...and she grabbed on (notice the ribbon in her left hand)...

Then I put it in front of Cooper...he grabbed on but didn't seem too excited! He just stared at it!

Then I gave it back to Hadley & she was so excited!!

Look at those sweet feet!!

One year ago today, April 27, 2008, I was at the Tulsa Fertility Center for my Egg Retrieval. It seems like forever ago since we were going through our 2nd IVF cycle! My how things can change in one year! We are so blessed! Click here read about our ER last year!

Our Sunday's Best!

We took the babies to church today for the second time...they were great AGAIN! Hadley slept the entire time in my arms & Cooper was awake pretty much the whole time, but only made one little whimper. We had so many people comment after church on how good they were!!

The kiddos looked so cute today all dressed up for church! We were running a little late this morning, so no time for pictures. I wanted to snap a few after church but the babies fell asleep in the car. So...I let them just nap in their church clothes so I could take a few pics after nap time! Enjoy!

Over the river & through the woods to Grandmother's house we go...

Saturday afternoon we all went to MeMe & Sweet Pa's house to visit for a little while. I snapped a few pictures before we left in their precious new outfits!

This one was too cute not to share...Miss Hadley was the first up from her nap so she got to sit & watch Mommy finish getting ready! What a happy girl!!!

Cooper found his voice & has been 'talking' up a storm lately!!! I could just eat him up!! ❤

Fun Day

We had such a fun day today! After nap time, we met my best friend, Annie for lunch at the Blue Plate!! I was kind of nervous taking the babies to a restaurant, but we sat outside on their porch & they were great! Annie was dying to see them & we had a great time! I am so mad at myself...I had my camera in my purse to take a picture & totally forgot...don't you hate it when you do that...I do it often!!! UUUHHH!!

We then came home for a little while. The babies fell asleep in the car on the way home, so I just brought their carseats in the kitchen & let them sleep for about an hour. They didn't move! Once they woke up, they ate & then we headed to a fish fry for Michael's work. Mommy & Daddy are on diets so we didn't eat any of the good food, but we enjoyed seeing everyone! Again...no pictures!

I did take a few shots once we got home though!! You all are probably sick of seeing pictures of C&H swinging, but they always look SO.DARN.CUTE in their swings & we swing several times a day...they seem so relaxed & really seem to like it, so why not!!
