POOP & BATHTIME

COOP POOPED!!! He had two poopy diapers this evening...not alot but it's a start!!! He is going to hate me someday, isn't he???

I wanted to share some pictures and a video (please excuse my voice...I sound SO stupid) from bathtime tonight!! C&H were in such good moods...have I told you lately how much I love these two babies??? I could literally EAT.THEM.UP!!!

A couple of things....

1. STILL NO POOP!!! Still trying different things, but to no avail!

2. Kelly at 2 Kids, a Minivan, and a Whole lot of Love

gave me this great award this morning! Kelly has two precious kids, Chase & Abigail, and another on the way! They are the cutest little family & I truly enjoy reading her blog! Thanks again Kelly!!

Prunes anyone???

UPDATE:

Cooper still hasn't pooed yet. Thank you for all your helpful comments. We have tried the Karo syrup. He has never been regular & we have used that several times in the past couple of months & it has worked like a charm until now. I called the dr. this morning & he said to give him 1/4-1/2 tsp of metamucil mixed with a little bit of water. I gave him some around 3:30 or 4:00 so hopefully sometime tonight he will go! If this doesn't work we will try the prune juice & water or the vaseline method! Thanks again!

Poor Cooper hasn't pooed in almost a week & I am getting kind of worried. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it, but I have been trying everything to get him to go. Last night I mixed their cereal with prune juice. These pictures don't show the truth. Hadley was wincing & gagging the whole time. She ate some, but I could tell she didn't really like it! Cooper on the other hand usually isn't that into his cereal, but he was like a little bird last night! I couldn't get another bite in his mouth quick enough....he loved the prune juice!

No swaddles....

I tried putting the babies to sleep last night with no swaddles! About a month ago, I tried putting them down with no swaddles & they screamed & screamed & screamed. So I prepared myself for them to do the same thing last night! And to my surprise, it was totally different! I laid Cooper down & he instantly was asleep. It took Hadley a little longer...she talked and fussed a little for about 30 minutes then was asleep. After about an hour, Cooper fussed a little, but went back to sleep pretty easily. We didn't hear a peep from them for the next 3 hours. Around 11:00, they both started to get restless.  I decided to go ahead and swaddle them at that point, so we would all get some much needed sleep! Baby steps, right?? I thought 4 hours unswaddled was pretty good! Look at our sweet sleeping babies!! They look so peaceful!! 

I didn't set my alarm this morning for church because I figured the babies would be up on plenty of time. The past two mornings Miss Hadley has been up around 5:30 am, but to my surprise, I woke up a little after 8:00 and both babies were still asleep. There was no way we were making it on time. I was so upset with myself that we didn't make it to church again! 

Our Slumber Party

After the park yesterday, the girls came over for pizza and we ended up having a slumber party! We had so much fun! A, TG, & S are such sweet girls at our house & were a big help with the babies!!! We got up this morning & went and got donuts for breakfast...

...and then they helped Michael clean out the barn! He had taken everything out to clean & then reorganize & the girls had so much fun helping him...especially Miss Sophie (in red)!!!!

I love you girls!! I had so much fun!!

Our trip to the Park

We picked up my nieces after school today & went to the park for a little while! We had a blast & the babies loved the swings!!
