Beautiful Day at the Park

First off, several people asked where we got our baby gate....we got it several years ago at Toys-R-Us...it is 6x6 and is the perfect size for C&H!!!

It was a gorgeous day today here in Arkansas, so I decided to pick up my nieces from school & take the babies to the park! We had a great time & the babies loved swinging again! Here are some pictures to prove it! It is not supposed to get out of the 80's here this weekend & I am so looking forward to it!! I am so, so, so ready for fall!!!

Our New Play Yard!!!

These days, I can't take my eyes off of Hadley...she is into everything...so during naptime today I decided to break out the baby fence! I really was putting off pulling this out, but I couldn't leave the room for a second because I was worried what she was into...now I have a little peace of mind!! They are loving it...they have been so good this afternoon playing in their new play yard!! I was thinking about getting some of those foam mats to put under it...what do you think??

Into EVERYTHING!!!

Miss Hadley has been into EVERYTHING the last couple of days!! She is keeping me on my toes...I can't imagine when both babies are crawling...much less both walking!!!! I better get ready quick, huh??? She is getting really good at crawling...she can go from a sitting position to a crawling position now & can almost sit up on her own. She is doing something new everyday!!!

Messy Babies

We decided to eat out on the back porch last night since it the rain yesterday made it not so hot out! C&H loved it & made the biggest mess eating their dinner!!!

Miss Hadley started saying 'bye-bye' yesterday & said it all day! I got it on video but I have tried about 5 times to upload it to Blogger.....& it's not cooperating with me!! I'll keep trying!!! I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!

Rosy Cheeks

Cooper gets the cutest rosy cheeks when he gets hot at all! We went outside for a short walk the other evening & it wasn't even that hot outside...when we came in I just had to take some pictures of his rosyness!!! I could eat him for lunch!

Lately, I have been putting cheerios, yogurt melts, etc on C&H's tray so that they can learn to start picking things up. I tried a few weeks ago, & everything was ending up on the floor...so I decided they weren't quite ready for that. This week I tried again...and they are doing great. They have been able to pick things up, but can't quite get it in their mouths....but this morning they both got a melt into their mouths!! I know it's not that big of a deal, but I love to see them try new things & succeed!!!

What a Day!!

These pictures pretty much sum up our day today....needless to say, it's been a

LONG day!

Mr. Cooper woke up at 4:15 this morning and wasn't a happy camper. I am not sure what was wrong, but it took both Mommy & Daddy till 6:00 to get him calmed down. He took a good morning nap, but refused to sleep this afternoon...so Mommy had a very cranky Cooper on her hands today!!!

Hadley has been fussy today too, but I think it is her tummy. She has never been a big spitter upper. The past few days, she has been spitting up/throwing up quite a bit. I say that bc I am not really sure whether she is spitting up or throwing up. How do you tell the difference? It's more than a little spit up, but not a ton...I was just not sure, so I called the dr. yesterday. He said to put her on a Pedialyte diet for 24 hours, then on 1/2 strength formula for 24 hours, then back to normal. She is refusing to drink the Pedialyte...so have been mixing Pedialyte with 1/2 formula, but it still seems like her tummy is still upset. If she is still spitting up tomorrow, I am calling the dr. back & see what else we can do! Poor baby girl, she has wanted me to hold her all day today!

Please pray for a good night's sleep & some happy babies in the morning because Mommy would at least like a shower tomorrow!!

8 Months Old!!!

Happy 8 Months Cooper & Hadley!!!

Why does time have to fly by so fast....it seems like everytime I turn around Cooper & Hadley are another month old!!! This is by far my favorite age so far...C&H keep me laughing most of the time!! I love their little personalities that are developing!! They are the sweetest babies, but know exactly what they want & when they want it!!!

Cooper at 8 months:

still only 2 teeth

rolling everywhere & getting stronger everyday

eating 3-8 oz bottles a day

eating 2-3 oz cereal & 2 oz fruit for breakfast

eating 2 oz fruit, 2 oz vegetable, & 2 oz meat for dinner

loves for Daddy to blow his belly & tickle him

& is the tickliest baby I know!

Hadley at 8 months:

rolling & pulling herself everywhere

getting up on all fours but doesn't quite have the 'crawling' down just yet
