Summertime Cookout!!

Since we are going to be out of town next weekend for the 4th of July, Michael & I decided to have a little cookout this past Sunday! Everyone came over after church to do a little fishing & then Michael had been smoking ribs & chicken all day, so we enjoyed a wonderful barbeque dinner...finished off with strawberry homemade ice cream!! A Lime - 11 weeks

CONFERENCE CHAMPS & OVERALL CHAMPS!!

Michael & two of our friends have been coaching a 9&10 year old baseball team this summer. He absolutely loves coaching this age group! Won't he be a wonderful daddy?? I can't wait for the day he gets to coach our son or daughter!!! Anyways, on to the purpose of this post...their team won the championship Tuesday night 10-0!!!! They were conference champs & overall champs!! Way to go boys!!! It has been so much fun watching them play all season!!

Our First Prenatal Appt in FS!

I am so ready! I go next Tuesday, the 1st of July at 2:00 p.m. I can't wait to see Dr. Laws! I am not sure whether I will have an ultrasound or what will be done, but I will update & let everyone know how things are going!

Last weekend at the Lake!!

I am a little behind, but wanted to share some pictures from this past weekend. My in-laws recently got a new condo at Lake Ouachita, so Michael & I went down to enjoy the weekend on the lake! We took my youngest niece, Sophie with us & she had a blast!!!

I am so looking forward to the rest of the summer!!

Ultrasound Video

Here is a short video of this mornings ultrasound! Everything looked great & we were released to come back to Dr. Laws in FS!!! No more trips to Tulsa & no more progesterone!! Wahoooooo!!! I am on 'cloud 9' today!! The babies were so active this morning & it was the first time Michael & I could see them moving around! It really looked like they were dancing in there!!! Both heartbeats were 174.42 again...just like last week & are both are about 1 inch long! Enjoy!!

Green Olive - 9 weeks

Your little embryos have now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!

8w5d ultrasound

We got to see our babies again today! It is such a wonderful feeling seeing those little heartbeats! According to the heartbeats, it looks like we might be having the same sex!! The heartrates were exactly the same....174!! Just wanted to share some pictures with you.

Michael's BD

Last Thursday on Michael's BD, his mom cooked a wonderful spaghetti dinner & had cake. I was so mad at myself, but I forgot my camera. It was a great time!! Tonight, my parents cooked brisket for everyone to celebrate Michael's BD. It was great! Here are some pics from tonight!

Our trip to NWA!!

Yesterday we went to NWA to go to dinner for Michael's birthday! He had been dying to go back to Ruth's Chris steakhouse. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner & were totally surprised by having a check paid for. We were so shocked (& I was almost in tears) that three couples in our small group had called in advance & paid for our dinner. Can you get any more thoughtful than that?? Thank you Eric & Samantha, Matt & Erica, & Joel & Jessica...you all are such wonderful friends!!!

We had left a little early to go shopping a little. I have been reading Shannon's blog & I love her decorating style. She has made several posts about this place called Oop's in Tontitown. I just had to go. Michael & I went crazy in there!! For those of you in the FS area, it's like an A to Z but a couple of steps up! I just wanted to share a couple of things we got while we were there!

We have been looking for something for our extra bathroom.

We found these bird pics for $6.25 & $3.75. I love them. They are really old looking!!

We have been looking for shades for our chandelier forever. We found these for $.50 each!!

I found this precious little bird ornament for a couple of dollars!

Both of our grandparents have cups like these & remember drinking from them growing up. We got 6 for $.75 each!!! I love them!!

We got several other things but I have probably bored you with all this stuff! I will stop now!! Thanks Shannon for telling me about Oops...I will definatley be going back soon!!

Happy Birthday Baby!!!

HAPPY 28TH BIRTHDAY MICHAEL LEE!!! I wanted to wish the man of my dreams, my best friend, my strength a very happy birthday today! I am not quite sure what I would do without you! I hope you have the best birthday ever! I love you with all my heart!!!

The sweetest friends...

I swear I couldn't ask for any sweeter of friends & family than I have. I have been amazed by the amount of people praying for Michael & I this year and by the amount of phone calls & cards we have recieved!! When we first found out we were pregnant, we recieved these beautiful flowers from our friend Sara!

Since we have recieved some very sweet gifts!! When I got back from Tulsa last Thursday we had a bunch of balloons that included this precious twins balloon:

Then I recieved this from a friend of mine from church, Jessica. She had this in both of her kids nurseries & wanted to give it to Michael & I. Isn't she just the sweetest!! It says 'a baby is God's opinion that the world should go on'. I love it...thanks Jess!

And then Friday while I was at work, I recieved a visit from an old coworker of mine & her 4 boys!! It was so good to see all of you & to hear about all those snakes & bears at your house!! They brought me these too...how sweet can you be!!

I wanted to thank everyone for the emails, phone calls, & letters! Everyone of you are dear to my heart & I thank God everyday for putting you in my life!! We appreciate the thoughts & prayers so much!!

A blueberry - Week 7

Baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.
