Say What? Wednesday!

The other day while driving down the road, I said "Hadley, I love you" and she replied, "I wuv you too Mommy!" And then I said, "Cooper, I love you" and didn't get a response. Then I said it again and still didn't get a response. I remember wondering why he wasn't answering me, but I was driving through a busy intersection and couldn't turn around and look. After the third time saying it, I was able to turn around and found him continuously winking at me! I swear that boy is gonna break some hearts someday!

The other morning we were out running errands and decided to stop by my parents house to see them. When I asked C&H if they wanted to go see Nana and Daddo, Hadley got so excited and said, "I am so excited Mommy! Nana will be so happy cause she loves us!" It just melted my heart!

Happy 9 Years!

Nine years ago today, I became the happiest girl on earth! It was a HOT July day, but it was the most perfect, fun day of my life! I finally had become Mrs. Michael Webb and I couldn't have asked for anything more!

Our Nighttime Routine

I think having a night time routine is such a huge part in a child's sleep habits. From day one of C&H's lives, we were always on a routine and always had the same bedtime every night! As they have gotten older, we have become much more relaxed on the bed time issue but when we are home, we still try to keep the same night routine. This is such a special time for me...C&H are usually so sweet and I just wanted to document our routine. After baths & teeth brushings, we always sit in the floor together and say our prayers.
And then we turn out the lights, and I hold each of them at their crib side and sing a song. I have sung the same song to them each and every night since they were just a few months old. Just recently they have started singing along and it just melts my heart to hear their tiny voices sing our special song!

And just in case you can't understand us and so I don't ever forget it, here are the lyrics to our special song:
As night begins to fall,
And animals big and small,
Get ready to go to bed,
The owls say hello,
and the moon starts to glow,
Good Night Sleepy Head!

Fishing out Back!

My niece, Annie Kate, was in town last week visiting and one thing she really wanted to do was come fishing at our house! Her 11th birthday was in a couple of days, so we just had a little birthday celebration before we hit the pond!

Isn't she the cutest??

Swimming with the Riedels!

One day last week, my friend, Amber, was in town with her girls, Morgan and Braelyn. I hadn't seen them in a while, so we got together at the park that day and then went swimming at her parents house that night! It was so good getting caught up with her and seeing those little sweeties of her! They are so cute & sweet!

Amber's brother, Dustin, was there with his HUGE dog, Duke! Before we left, he brought Duke out so C&H could see him! They LOVED him, especially Hadley! Duke is just a BIG baby...he was so sweet!

4th of July Weekend!

Photobucket
We had such a good weekend! We stayed home and got stuff done around the house the first part of the weekend! I was in the organizing mood and got lots of cleaning and organizing done! On Sunday, my parents, Pogee, and our friend, Matt, came over for a fish fry! It was so yummy and then we enjoyed some small fireworks at home! C&H LOVED it!

Then on Monday, we went to some friends house who live on Hardscrabble Country Club. We sat on the tee box in their backyard and watched the best fireworks show ever! It was the perfect place to relax! All the kiddos had a ball rolling down the big hill and LOVED it once the fireworks started! They were exhausted but had such a great time!
