Charlie is 2 & Cooper's Bedding is here!!!

This is my first child, Charlie! Yesterday was his birthday. Michael surprised me at Christmas 2 years ago with him, & I am not sure what I did without him!! Here is the little stinker tonight still wet from his bath!! Happy Birthday Charlie!!
Cooper's bedding came in on Friday night & I am so in love! What do you guys think???

Photo Shoot at 28 weeks

Isn't my sister the best??....Thank you so much MB...I love them!!! I will cherish these forever!!

So behind on blogging & totally exhausted...

I have been such a bad blogger lately because I have been extremely busy! I had a wonderful, non-stop & exhausting weekend, that I could bring myself to blog last night...I had to go to bed!! I did want to share a pic of the bib/burp cloth that I won last week from a blog giveaway from Stacy at The Fancy Fritter. Thank you so much Stacy...they are precious!!

I went to 'Dinner with TLC' again on Friday night, had a Birthing class at the hospital on Saturday all day, had church and a church baby shower on Sunday, followed by my 28 week maternity shoot & we also recieved Cooper's crib bedding on Friday night, so I need to get caught up on my blogs! I hit 28 weeks yesterday...I can't believe how fast this is going! Here is a pic of twins at 28 weeks!

27 week belly picture

This is a little late...it was actually taken at 27 weeks & 1 day but I am just now posting since my computer was acting up last night! This pregnancy is really starting to take it's toll on me! I am getting so exhausted so easily these days & my upper back is killing me!! Sitting at a desk all day wouldn't seem like it should bother you, but it is really hard on me these days!! I think it is due to my 'not-so-good' posture & having all this weight in my belly!! I am starting to swell too which is such a lovely sight...soon, I won't have any ankles!!! I feel like all I do is complain these days, but I wouldn't change anything right now...this pregnancy is such a blessing!!

National Infertility Awareness Week

October 19-25, 2008 is National Infertility Awareness Week - A movement to raise awareness about the disease of infertility which affects 7.3 million Americans. It affects 10% of the population & chances are someone you work with, go to church with, etc. is struggling with infertility and you don't even know it. The greatest thing you can offer is support. Take a moment to visit the resolve website if you have time. There is information for those struggling and their friends and family.

http://www.resolve.org/site/PageServer?pagename=evt_niaw08_home

Even though we aren't struggling with infertility anymore, it still weighs very heavy on my heart! After 4 years of disappointment & the unknown, it is hard to forget the defeated, helpless, & lonely feelings that go along with it. This blog was such a blessing while dealing with infertility once I found all the other women out there in my same position! I am praying for all of you out there dealing with IF & I pray that God will bless you soon with a baby of your own whether it be, biological or through adoption. HE has a 'perfect plan' for each & every one of us and always remember: 'The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you'.

I 'heart' GERBER!!

I was recently invited to attend the Gerber Mothers-to-Be Banquet that was this morning. One of my friends' husband works at Gerber & asked if I would be interested in going. She said it was unbelievable what all they gave away & I gladly accepted the offer to go. There were about 225 soon-to-be mothers or brand new mothers there (one lady actually started having contractions while we were eating lunch & left for the hospital). It was overwhelming how giving this company is!!! Everyone walked away with a door prize, which I won a changing table organizer...yeah! I am not complaining at all but that was probably one of the smallest gifts they gave away...they had playpens, high chairs, basinets, strollers, bouncers, car seats overflowing with toys & clothes & diapers. It was unbelievable!!! But not counting the door prizes, look how much stuff each person went home with!!! Granted, I got double since I am having two babies, but still...look at all the goodies I got!!
Sippy cups...organic baby food...onesies...

juice...cereal...Gerber Graduates...more baby food...books...blankets...towels...

spoons...pacifiers...bottles...nipples...
and all this bath stuff from baby shampoo...baby wash...baby lotion...washcloths...bath toys!!!! It was unbelievable! Thank you so much Sara & Reagan for inviting me to this wonderful event!!

Precious Frames!

Look what we got today! Well, actually we got them as a gift at my last shower, but since we didn't announce the babies' names until the day of the shower...nothing we received was monogrammed or embroidered! But these frames came with free monogramming...& I think they turned out precious! These are the first things with Cooper & Hadley's initials on them! They were just too cute not to share!! Thanks Sara & family!!!

26 weeks today!!!

Here are Charlie & I tonight at 26 weeks! I look so huge!!!!!!!

We finally went Friday night & bought our crib mattresses so that I could get Hadley's crib made. We have had her bedding for a couple of weeks now, but I still hadn't seen it all put together!! I love it...it's just what I wanted!! Here are a few pics!

Not much going on around here this weekend! We got alot of stuff done around the house...just a slow weekend at home...the kind I truly enjoy every once in a while!!

I did want to say I am so excited to announce I won a blog giveaway...check out Stacy's blog. She has the cutest little girl, & she has a great Etsy shop with some really cute items! I won a burp cloth & a bib...I will be sure to post a pic once I get them!! Thanks Stacy...that was a huge surprise...I never seem to win anything!!!

100 days left....

...well probably not since I am having two. I guess I should say, I hope I don't have 100 days left! Don't get me wrong, I know the longer these babies stay in there, the better, but at this growth rate, I won't be able to roll over in bed at full term!!! For real, on Tuesday my dr. looked at me & said "you know you could have two babies in your arms in 11 or 12 weeks"!! :0 11 or 12 WEEKS!!!!!!! That isn't a long time...it really hit home that we will be meeting Cooper & Hadley in no time! I am so ready! For those of you who know me personally, you know how long I have longed to be a mother! My dream is finally coming true! I thank God everyday for the two blessings growing inside me & with every kick (even though they are starting to hurt & take my breath away) I get a smile on my face! It is the most amazing feeling! I am actually having fun trying to figure out which baby is kicking me...it is really difficult! Thank you all again for you past prayers through our infertility journey, & now through our pregnancy journey, & your future prayers through our parenthood journey! There have been some major highs & lows, but I wouldn't change it for the world! My relationship with Michael & God have become much stronger because of what we have been through! What more could I ask for???

10-07-08 Drs Appt & Boucy seats

I had my monthly doctor visit today. All is well! I had my glucose test, but won't know the results for a couple of days. The drink wasn't bad at all...just tasted like fruit punch! Blood pressure was great & both babies heartbeats sounded great! Cooper's was approximately 130 & Hadley's was approximately 150. They were moving like crazy while the dr. had the doppler on my belly..really cool! He measured my belly & I am measuring 7 weeks ahead of a singleton pregnancy which he said was great! I am 25w2d & I am measuring at about 32 weeks! It's a little scary to think about how big I am going to be in the next couple of months. My next appointment is November 6th & I will be having another 2 hour growth ultrasound. I am just ready to see how much they have grown since last month!!
Michael's coworkers were unable to make it to the shower this past weekend, but surprised me at lunch today with our bouncy seats! I saw these when I first found out I was pregnant & fell in love with them! Thanks guys...we love them! They were put together as soon as I got home from the drs. office today!! They are even cuter in person!!

The precious door decorations

Checking out all the gifts...can you tell Sophie is having fun???

How cute...matching outfits!

The beautiful table!

Our babies' names!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are pleased to announce we have finally decided on names!!
Cooper Thomas Webb
&
Hadley Owen Webb
Thomas & Owen our both of our dad's middle names. We have liked Hadley for a long time, but had difficulty agreeing on a boy's name. We both had our favorite boy names, but neither of us would give, so we decided to cross them off the list & pick our favorite name that we both loved! I think they are perfect & can't wait to finally meet Cooper & Hadley!!!

Nursery Peak #2

Our beautiful cribs were delivered today after church!! I am so happy with what we picked out! We ordered them from Rosenberry Rooms. They delivered & assembled them for no extra charge...well worth it!! Michael was extremely happy they offered this service...he was a little worried about how long it was going to take him to assemble two cribs! The pictures do not do them justice...they look white in the pictures, but they are cream & are going to look great with the bedding!! All we need now is some mattresses & we can at least get the girl's bed put together!! What do you guys think??

Cute website!!!

How cute are these? I found this website that has infertility inspired onesies & t-shirts. I think I may have to order a few once the babies get here!! They also have cute ones for multiples!! Check out this website here. The couple that started this website struggled with infertility & have just recently been blessed with two sweet baby girls! They are still in the hospital, but doing well. Please keep them in your prayers...here is their blog to stay updated.
