Blogging?? What's that?? You all probably think I fell of the face of the earth! Well, I haven't...just been super busy with our kitchen remodel (more to come on that) and well, mothering two independent, wanting no help, stubborn, precious, energetic 20-month olds! Whenever I go somewhere in public with C&H alone, we ALWAYS use a stroller or buggy for obvious reasons! Michael was with us the other evening when we went to Old Navy so we just let them walk & hold our hands. I guess we were stressing holding our hands alot while we were in there cause they had to hold every mannequin's hand as we passed!!!

Hadley is into wearing my hats lately. This one fits her great cause it's adjustable to fit smaller heads! She wanted to look in the mirror so I let her stand on the steps to our bathtub...and someone else wanted in on the fun too!!!

My nieces gave C&H this set of horses a while back and I decided to put it up for a rainy day! I pulled it out recently & they are in love! They love to play horses!
When we visit Pogee, C&H either want to push her walker or ride on her walker! This particular day they had a double ride!!! :)

MeMe recently bought some new toys at her house for when we come & visit! Cooper loves the dress-up shoes!!! It's hilarious to watch him walking in them!
He wanted to wear H's squeaky shoes the other day too....and threw a fit until I put them on him! I swear we aren't trying to turn him into a sissy!! He sees his sister wearing bows & cute shoes & doesn't know any different! I swear he really is ALL BOY!!
We have a whole drawer of hats that either Nana or Pogee have knitted over the years and C&H love to pull them out & wear them around the house! Cooper's favorite thing to do is pull it down over his eyes & walk around like he is blindfolded and them say Peek-a-Boo!!! Silly boy!
C hates to get his hands dirty...here he came up to me to let me know they were dirty and to clean them off!
Playtime!
After C&H's bath, we always get our PJs on & play in their nursery for a while! They are usually really wound up at this point and we always have so much fun!

We have been working on looking at the camera, smiling, and saying 'cheese'...it's not working out so well! Cooper has to get as close to the camera as he can and Hadley, well, you see what kind of smile I get out of her! Cute...but not exactly what I was wanting!

Nikes and headbands!!!
One day recently, Hadley brought me her Nikes and wanted to wear them. We wore them a couple of weeks ago & I could barely get them on her feet so I knew she was about to outgrow them. However, she pitched a fit until I forced them onto her feet. I know they had to be uncomfortable, but she was happy so I was happy! However, the Nikes are being packed up with all the other too small shoes! :( They are like brand new....why do kids feet have to grow so dang fast???
I also have been putting headbands on Hadley so she will get used to them. She constantly wants to take it off and try to put it back on again! She was cracking me up...she would put in on her head as good as she could and put her hands in the air and say 'ta-da'!! She was so proud!

Sleepy Boy...
...or should I say non-sleepy boy! Usually Cooper is the better sleeper between him & Hadley...but not this past week or two! I'm not sure if his 2 year molars are coming in or if his tummy has been hurting, but this Mama wants her sleeping boy back! These pictures were taken one morning when he woke up around 5:00 am after being up for several hours earlier in the night and wouldn't go back to sleep. I was to the point where I would have done anything just to sleep. Michael and I have always said we didn't want to start bringing the kids to bed with us and getting them used to it! However, for the second time ever, I put Cooper in our bed and he was out in a matter of seconds and this Mama got the much needed rest I was dying for! He was getting ready to wake up and he just looked too cute not to snap a picture of him! He was excited to wake up in Mommy & Daddy's bed for once!!!

Hadley & Charlie
Michael's parents have two teacup poodles named Jack & Jill. Everytime we visit them, Hadley wants to hold the dogs. MeMe lets her hold them if she sits down & is easy with them...she is great with them and is in heaven when she gets to hold them! So, now she always is wanting to hold Charlie. Charlie isn't that big of a dog, but he is probably quadruple the size of Jack & Jill and is almost as big as her...but she doesn't care! She loves to hold Charlie and the more he wiggles to get free from her, the tighter she holds on to him! She will pat him & say 'hi Charlie'...it's so precious! And she always throws a fit when Charlie finally gets away!!

BEAUTIFUL little girl!
Daddy clipped Hadley's flower in his hair the other night while he was playing and he loved it! These days he is really into wearing hats or clippies in his hair! It is hilarious! He will bring me bows and stuff all the time and whine till I put it in his hair. Once I do, he will walk around so proud...he is just the cutest thing ever! With those eyelashes, blue eyes, blonde curls...he would have been a beautiful little girl, huh??? But I am so thankful for our beautiful boy!

First Day of School!
Today was the first official day of MDO for the school year! I am so glad C&H went to the summer program...they did great today at drop off and I didn't have to worry about them one bit! They quickly remembered how much fun school was! They looked precious too in their 'first day of school' outfits! See for yourself!

Lovely Weather!
I am really in the mood for some Fall weather after today. I knew it would be a good day today when I woke up & it was 73 degrees outside! We started off our morning playing & eating breakfast out on the screened in porch...it was so nice & cool! Once we got dressed, we headed to the park with Nana. As we pulled out of our driveway, I noticed this Mama & her twin babies in our neighbors yard! We stopped & watched them for a while...I guess they were out enjoying the nice weather too!
C&H had a blast like always at the park. Cooper has mastered climbing UP the slide and they both enjoyed looking at the geese!
After naptime, we played outside for several hours till Daddy got home! We went on two walks, chased the kittie cats, drew with sidewalk chalk, ate popsicles, walked Charlie around the yard, and stole all of Mommy's ice!
Come on FALL...we are ready for you!!
