Seriously, I cannot believe this was just one year ago! It is freaking crazy how much C&H have grown since these pictures! I remember being able to set them somewhere & they stayed there...especially in the grass! They were still very unsure of the grass at this age! Oh how I miss this sweet, chubby babies! ;)

Old McDonald's Farm

The fair is here this week in our area. We decided to take C&H this morning to see the animals at Old McDonald's Farm....they LOVED it! They got to feed the animals and watch a pig slide and hear all kinds of animal noises!

I just adore this series of pictures! Cooper is obsessed right now with 'daddies' (aka AIRPLANES) When we see a plane in the sky he starts screaming 'DADDY' and fusses when the plane is out of sight! In the first picture, we could hear a jet coming, in the second pic he spotted it, and in the third picture he is fussing cause he couldn't see it anymore! Seriously, it is just me or is he not the sweetest little thing???

Happy Birthday Braxton!

Tomorrow is our nephew, Braxton's, 4th birthday and we celebrated today with a birthday party for him! He had so much fun as did all the kiddos! Here are a few pics!

New Activities!

I am constantly looking for new activities to keep C&H busy! Their attention span is very short & get bored very easily like any other toddler their age! Courtney at "Two Little Bugs and a Bichon" has been posting lately about creative learning games & activities that she is reading about in a new book. She is trying them out on her twin boys and then documenting all the activities on her blog. They really are some great activities and I look forward to trying them out with C&H too!

We tried out water balloons the other day...C&H had fun and that is all that matters, but I obviously didn't fill the water balloons up well enough. They would throw them and they would just roll across the concrete and even the gravel! We squeezed and stepped on the balloons and very few of them even popped!! We will definitely have to try this again and fill them up more!!!

Once they got bored with those I just blew some of the balloons up and they had lots of fun with them too!

Another great idea I recently saw involved coloring! C&H love to color...and on anything! I covered their table with some old wrapping paper (on the white side) and let them go to town! They LOVED it! We wrote all of our family's names on there & drew some pictures! We all had fun!

I can't wait to try some more of Courtney's ideas!

These days I just don't have the time to enter blog giveaways anymore...unless I see one that is just awesome! At the first of the month, I came across this back-to-school giveaway that Jessica at My Beatles Babies was hosting for her birthday month and fell in love with the precious zebra Skip*Hop backpack and a bunch of other goodies...so I just had to enter! When I was found out I won...I was so excited! I was even more excited when Jessica told me she was sending another backpack for Cooper! How sweet is she?? Jessica works at my favorite children's store in Tulsa called Ding-bats and has two of the cutest little girls named Lucy & Penny! You must check out her awesome blog...LOVE it!

C&H and I were so excited to find a package on our doorstep yesterday with all our goodies! Look how stinkin' cute these are...

H put her backpack on & played for a long time with it on...she loved it!

Cooper wouldn't wear his right away...he just wanted to hold it, look at it, and say 'froggie'! Too cute!

And look at all these other goodies...Thanks again Jess for sending two of everything...I can tell you are a Mom of two also!!! ;)

I have been looking for a good CD of children's songs....I was so excited to listen to Spaghetti Eddie! It's awesome and C&H LOVE it and I do to! Cooper claps after every song...their favorites are 'the body parts song' and 'kittie cat town'.
