Our First Wagon Ride

As soon as my Daddy found out I was pregnant with twins, he wanted to buy us a little red wagon to pull the babies up & down the driveway...so at one of my baby shower he surprised me with a little red wagon. Today was the first day for Cooper & Hadley to ride down our driveway in their wagon & they absolutely loved it! I see many more walks in our future...Thanks Daddy! We love you!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately...we have all been sick & I haven't felt like blogging much! I promise to get back in the groove soon!!

Sweetheart!

This sweet little thing had a big day yesterday! He got his 6th tooth (upper right), said Da-Da for the first time, & he is SSSSOOO close to crawling!! As hard as it's going to be to have two mobile babies, I am itching for Cooper to start crawling! He has been rocking on all fours for a while now, but he gets closer & closer everyday! I love seeing C&H achieving new things! It melts my ❤!

(p.s. The Sleep Fairy gave us 1 more hour of sleep...she was up at 5 instead of 4...baby steps??)

Miss Hadley Owen

Miss Hadley refused to nap today, so while Cooper was taking a nap we had some great one-on-one time together! I figured she would be fussy this evening, but she was so happy all day & went to bed without one single fuss tonight! We had a little fun outside enjoying the nice fall weather!

...and here are a few of our fall decorations I put out yesterday. Check out those pumpkins that we grew this year...aren't they beautiful??? We picked 25 and still have some green ones on the vine!! I love having a garden!!

I also wanted to share with you my new car decals! I love them! On our recent trip to TN, my cousin had one of these initial stickers on her car & my sister & I fell in love with it & had to have one for ourselves! Isn't that awesome? I have been looking for some kind of twin sticker & recently found this one on ebay...isn't it cute too???

Big Girl Carseat!!!

Look what we got in the mail yesterday....Hadley's big girl seat! Finally, after almost giving up & choosing another color they finally shipped ours last week! I can't tell you how happy I am with these carseats...they are so easy to get C&H in & out of the car! Doesn't she look precious in her new seat?? They look so big now!!!

And look who is still loving his seat!!!

Brushing our Teeth!

Last week at C&H's checkup, I felt like a horrible mother when Dr. Fred asked if we were brushing the babies teeth. It only makes sense to brush their teeth as soon as they come in, but I hadn't even thought about it. So needless to say, Mommy went out & bought some toothpaste & toothbrushes & we are now brushing our teeth daily!! Here are a few pictures from our first time! C&H really seemed to like it....actually they seemed to like sucking & chewing on the toothbrush!

Since we are talking about teeth, Mr. Cooper got yet another tooth today! His bottom right tooth popped through this morning & his top right is just under the skin. So that is 5 teeth total for the big man!!! Click on the pic below to see his new pearly white!! He has been in such a good mood today, but it doesn't look like it here!!

Boys & their Toys!!!

Michael has recently picked up another hobby...riding a motorcycle! I will be honest...I am not too excited about him riding a motorcycle...it scares me to death, but he has promised me he will wear his helmet everytime he rides. We went to Rogers today to pick up his new bike...and I will admit, it's pretty sharp!!! Here is my love on his new toy!!

C&H's Aunt Haley is living in CO going to college. She recently sent these shirts to the babies...arent' they precious!! Thanks Haley!!! We miss you!!

9 month Checkup

We just got home from our 9 month well-baby check ups & we have two happy, healthy, & giant babies! Dr. Fred said they were right on track developmentally & growing very well! We had several questions for him about both babies, but everything is fine. Cooper has been pulling at his ears for a while now. I haven't called the dr. about this because it all started the day following our last dr's visit when his ears were last checked and he has shown no fever or other symptoms & it has been both ears. I was a little concerned about that but his ears were fine. He said sometimes teething causes babies to play with their ears...who knows...he must just like his cute little ears!! Also Hadley has had some redness & bumps on one of her cheeks for a while now. I have been keeping a close eye on it & just this week have noticed a few bumps on her legs and arms. Come to find out, it is Keratosis Piliaris which is a hereditary thing that Michael and his sister had also. It is where keratin (the hard protein in skin, nails, & hair) builds up in the hair follicles...kind of strange, but there isn't anything to do about it at this age. My MIL said that Michael grew out of it as a baby so hopefully it won't give Hadley too many problems. We didn't have to go through any shots this month, but they did have to have their fingers pricked for an anemia test. Both babies were in the normal range...Cooper cryed like his finger had been cut off & Hadley just smiled at the nurse when she pricked her finger....yes, I said SMILED!!! I told Cooper not to feel bad about crying cause Mommy would have too...I hate to have my finger pricked!! Next month we are going in for flu shots and then back in 3 months for our 1 year check up!! Sweet Boy!

Our afternoon napping schedule has been a little wacky this week...both babies are sleeping so I am not complaining, but they have been napping at different times which gives Mommy no time to get anything done...but I am loving me some one-on-one time with C&H!!! Hadley has been playing for 1-2 hours in her crib before finally falling asleep so I have been separating the babies for their afternoon nap. Cooper has been going right to sleep therefore waking up about the time Miss H goes to sleep. This afternoon C & I went outside for a little walk only to find that it had started to sprinkle AGAIN!! My dad told me today that for the month of September, it has rained all but 3 days here in AR!!! I love the rain, but come on....will it ever end??? We sat out in the garage for a little while until it stopped sprinkling & went for a walk up & down the driveway while H slept! I was playing around with some natural light & some editing & I think these pictures turned out pretty good....it helps to have such a cute little subject!!! Here are just a few...it was hard to pick my favorites!!!

It always seems like I never win anything I enter, but my luck must be changing! The 'Multiples & More' recently had an 'End of Summer Blog Party' with tons of giveaways during the first several days in September! I entered numerous giveaway only hoping to win something! Ponytails, Teeth, No Sleep....Oh My!!

Hadley has just enough hair on top to put a little ponytail! I was playing around with it one day last week & she actually left it in all day!! I can't wait till she has enough to pull it up with a big bow!! ;)

Cooper got his 4th tooth yesterday! It is his top left tooth. He wouldn't allow me to take a picture of his new tooth, but here is a picture of his other new tooth!! He is going to have a mouth-ful of teeth before I know it!

I wanted to apologize for the lack of posting lately!! Mommy is exhausted!! I have been up several times a night with Miss Hadley...not sure what is going on with her sleeping...she isn't showing any signs of teething?? It has taken me anywhere from 30 min to 1 hour to get her back to sleep...I have even resorted to giving her a bottle early morning! The past few weeks have been SO busy around our house and I am so excited to have nothing on our calendar this week until Friday! I am looking forward to getting a few things done around the house! The babies have their 9 month check up on Friday morning & can't wait to see how much the babies have grown in the past 3 months!!

I also wanted to wish MeMe & Sweet Pa, Nana & Daddo, Grandmother, & Pogee a Happy Belated Grandparent's Day!! C&H are so lucky to have such wonderful Grandparents & Great Grandparents!! We love you all!!!

Podee Bottles

Have you guys ever heard of Podee bottles?? I had seen them before & my sister used to have one with her youngest daughter so I decided to order some a couple of weeks ago. They are my new best friend! They are great for 'on the go'!! The nipples are different than our normal bottles so it took a couple of times for C&H to get used to them, but they have now got the hang of them!! They have a straw system for hands free feedings! If you have multiples or are on the go a bunch, these are for you! You have got to check them out!!

Here are C&H yesterday during our first successful bottle with them!! Do any of you use these? Aren't they great!!

Happy 9 months!!!

I can't believe 9 months ago today I gave birth to these cuties! It is crazy how much our lives have changed over the past nine months! I never knew a love like this existed!

Happy 9 Months sweet babies! I can't believe in 3 short months you will be turning a whole year old! I just wanted you both to know how much I adore you! I am not quite sure what I did with my time before you came into this world, but I want nothing more than to give every second of my day to you two! Hadley at 9 months:

❤You are into everything...and I mean everything! You know exactly where you aren't supposed to be in every room, & if I walk away for a split second your are right there!!

❤You still aren't crawling yet...you are getting up on all fours & rocking, but only seem to scoot backwards. You are just content where ever you are!
