I just have to share this picture with all of you that I took yesterday! Hadley slept till 8:30 yesterday morning which is later than usual, so when naptime rolled around, she wasn't wanting to nap! She stayed in her crib for an hour before she started fussing, but never went to sleep! I decided to just get her up and let her 'rest' on the couch...I assumed this would last about 10 minutes, but boy was I wrong! She didn't move a muscle for over an hour! Is this not the sweetest picture???

Jumping on Nana & Daddo's bed!
One of C&H's favorite things to do at Nana & Daddo's house is to jump on their bed! Over Christmas when all the kids were together, that is all they seemed to do! They had so much fun! These pics speak for themselves!

Sibling Dinner!
While my family was in town for Christmas, my brother, sister, & I and our spouses had the opportunity to all go out to dinner! I can't tell you the last time we have been able to do this together! It was so nice to have adult conversations with them over dinner! The boys didn't want their picture taken and I am so mad that we didn't get a group picture, but here are two of us girls! We must make this a Christmas tradition! I love you guys!

Christmas Day 2010
Between 10 and 11 that morning after playing with all their goodies from Santa, we got ready and headed to Meme & Sweet Pa's house to celebrate with them!
We took a few pics with Daddy & Mommy before we left!
When we got to Meme & Sweet Pa's we discovered that Santa had been there too! C&H squealed when they came in and saw all the toys! All I heard was 'open, open, open' and we opened box after box of toys! Why do they have to secure those things like they do???
Then it was time to open gifts!
Michael and I got some snuggle time with Miss Ella!
More 'choo-choos'!!!
The new family of 4!
We then had a wonderful dinner and played with our toys for the rest of the evening!
Our family!!
We were so blessed this holiday season! We are so lucky to have our families so close and to be able to celebrate with all of them! We can't wait for next year!
Christmas Morning 2010
Christmas Day we always celebrate with Michael's side of the family. In the past, we have gotten up early and gone and had breakfast with them, but since C&H are getting old enough to get the whole 'Santa brings toys' idea we decided to skip breakfast and let them play and enjoy for a while at home! It was really nice to have a relaxed morning and to see their excitement as they walked in to see what Santa had brought them! Michael and I got up around 6 so we could get a few things done before they got up which is usually around 7-7:30. Of course on the morning that we are anticipating their awakening, they sleep till 8 or later! We heard H moving around at 8 so we decided just to wake C up too!
Here is Daddy telling H that Santa had come and brought her all kinds of toys!
And C didn't want to get up at all....this boy does not like to be woke up!
Cooper went straight for his 'choo-choo' and never looked at another toy for several hours! He is officially obsessed with trains!
H was a little more reserved when it came to her presents! She just stood there looking at everything for a while!
And then she gave Daddy a big hug! She is so precious!
Checking out all her play food for her kitchen!
Still playing 'choo-choo'! Hasn't even noticed the stuff behind him!
Playing barbies!
Cooking Mommy & Daddy breakfast!
Finally got his mind off the trains for a second to try out his new tricycle!
Trying on her new jewelry!
She put her new baby down for a nap on her new nap mat!
Checking out her stocking goodies with Daddy!
Then Nana, Daddo, and Pogee came over to see what Santa brought!
H showing off her new high heels and baby dolls!
Giving Nana hugs
and Pogee kisses!
Silly boy riding his tricycle with his 'Mr. Potato Head' glasses on!
Christmas Eve 2010
Every year we celebrate Christmas with my side of the family on Christmas Eve. We usually eat a late lunch and open gifts soon after because my brother & his family head back home later in the evening to be home for Christmas morning. We always have a wonderful time being together as a family and this year was no different! In fact, C&H had even more fun this year than they did last! They got so many neat gifts and it was so fun watching them get excited when they saw what they got!!! I took WAY TO MANY pics so I'll just let them speak for themselves!!!
We woke up on Christmas Eve morning and I realized we had yet to make our Gingerbread house, so after breakfast, that's what we did! It soon turned into a candy-eating contest between C&H!
Then we were off to Nana & Daddo's house to celebrate!
The kids table (C&H had already eaten at this point & were off playing somewhere!)
The Adult Table
My attempt to get a picture of C&H together!
H opening up one of her new baby dolls...she was so excited!
Drew with his new otter box we got him!
Sophie & her 'LIV' doll camp set
C checking out his new horse!
H likes feeding him better than riding!
AK & TG got matching A&F sweatshirts!
BeBe knows how much this boy loves to watch the clothes in the wash! (he LOVED this even though it is pink!!!)
Addi with her new 'cute butt' pants...haha! I sure wish they would make my butt cute!!!
Waiting for Daddo to bring in H's new kitchen!
Checking it out!
A good time was had by all! Shortly after, we headed home! We had two no-napping cranky babies on our hands, so we decided to call it a night and get home to get things ready for Santa's arrival that night! On our way home, we stopped off to see a few Christmas lights since we had yet to do that! C&H ooohhhed and aaahhhed over them...it was too cute! H kept saying, 'yook, mom'! When did she stop calling me Mommy???
Once we got C&H ready for bed, we had to tell Zippy bye-bye since he would be going back to the North Pole with Santa that night! Here they are blowing him kisses!
Then we got cookies and milk ready for Santa!
And off to bed they went....another big day ahead...stay tuned for pictures from Christmas day!
