Day 3 was a great day! We decided to get up & eat breakfast and go to the beach early because they were calling for rain in the afternoon. Here are the cuties eating their breakfast!
When we got to the beach, we discovered tar balls had washed ashore. We didn't get in the water, but walked the beach for a little while checking out the oil. It wasn't bad, but you had to watch where you stepped if you got close to the water. We decided since we didn't want to get in the water we would just go back & swim in the pool. After this, I was scared that we wouldn't be able to get back in the ocean at all that week, but this was the only day that we saw any signs of oil and the beach was beautiful the rest of the week (when it wasn't raining!)
Hadley didn't want much to do with swimming so Daddy took her inside & Cooper & I enjoyed the pool! He is such a water baby!!
He was cracking us all up with his goggles! He sat on the steps of the pool wearing his goggles for the longest time just looking around...it was precious!
He also had a ball doing this! He would stiffen up his whole body and laugh & look around to see who was watching him! I love this boy!
After naptime, my nieces & I decided to take C&H for a walk. We let them out on one of 'the Greens' and just let them run wild! They ran off lots of energy!!
Day 4 wasn't so great! It rained all day and Hadley started feeling bad! She was pulling at her ears, started running a fever and became VERY CLINGY to me! She wanted no one but me! We decided she had developed her first ear infection. We called our pediatrician back home & he called us in some medicine for her pain. She slept pretty good every night, but was up every morning between 5:30-6:30! This is her early Tuesday morning watching Mickey Mouse & eating some Cheerios!
Daddo was up shortly after us every morning. We usually went on a walk and got a newspaper before anyone else was up! He read also read Hadley some books!
Cooper was an absolute angel all week long!
That night we went to dinner at Captain Andersons! It was awesome food, but Hadley wasn't a happy camper! Michael & I alternated taking her outside! We were out past C&H's bedtime...they were quite tired on the ride home!

Poor baby girl. Looks like you guys still managed to have a great time.
We are leaving for vacation shortly and I took both kids for check ups before we took them out of the country. My doctor prescribed me a few things, just in case and ear drops was one of them.
Once again, you got great pictures of those sweet babies and I know they had a blast. That Cooper is so cute in the pool.
Glad you guys had a great time :) I hope little Miss H is feeling better!!!
I just saw some pics on facebook of your family at the beach, like always, they are GORGEOUS!!!
Looks like so much fun! We spent the week at the lake. One day I will get the pictures up Running way behind. :)
Poor little things! They look exhausted! But still so precious!! They are just so happy! B&C are so happy, but when that camera gets their faces, they look everywhere but to me. Ihave so many pics of the tops of their heads! HEE!HEE!
You're so lucky to have such great troopers! I'm sorry Hadley wasn't 100% but she looks darn cute anyway! Anything out of the normal is hard on them and I think they're holding up rather nicely! Ear infections stink but antibiotics are GREAT! Have a great rest of your trip!!!
