Congrats Mom!

All I can say is that I am so proud of my Mom. On Thursday night, she received  the Golden Apple Award from the Fort Smith Classroom Teachers Association for excellence in teaching. She was nominated by her coworkers and was one of five recipients in the entire school system. What a honor to win and what a way to end her 32 years of teaching with such a great award! Congrats again Mom...we are so proud of you!

She had no idea that she was receiving this award until our whole family showed up at the banquet last night. Her coworkers had told her another retiree at their school was winning so she was there to see her except the award. My brother, Kyle & my grandmother, Pogee came in from NLR to be there & when the whole family walked in she started crying. She was totally surprised!!! We love you & are so proud of you!!

Pogee wanted to see the babies & they didn't go to the banquet, so we stopped by my sister's house yesterday afternoon so that they could see their Pogee. She couldn't believe how they had grown! Here are a few cute pictures!! We love you Pogee & are so glad you & Kyle came last night!!!

Visiting Nana's Classroom

We went to visit Nana's classroom today probably for the last time before she retires!
We love you Nana...❤, Cooper & Hadley

I finally spent my BD money!

My 29th birthday was way back at the end of January. I received lots of money because I wasn't sure what I wanted at the time. I have just recently got a few items that I spent my money on & just wanted to share. First, I ordered this precious wallet from my sister. It has two of the cutest newborns I have ever seen on it! It is so cool...it is like a picture on cloth!
The other side!...Don't I have a cute little model???
...and inside

I also got this necklace from Hearts on Your Wrist
I love it & have gotten so many compliments on it. One charm says Cooper, one says Hadley, and the rectangle one has their birthday, 12.11.08!
And last but not least...I ordered this address stamp. I have always wanted one of these, but didn't want to spend the money on it. It was a little expensive, but I think it will last forever. All you have to do is change the ink every once in a while. Check them out at Three Designing Women.

This is the design I chose!!

Wordless Wednesday!

Wow...I am still amazed!!

One year ago today (at 11:30 am to be exact), I officially became pregnant. After almost 4 years of unsuccessful attempts of TTC & 1 failed cycle of IVF, it finally happened. Two perfect blastocysts were implanted in my uterus! Click here to read last year's post. It is so hard to believe that this first picture is Cooper & Hadley one year ago....and the next one is them now.

Isn't modern medicine simply amazing?? Thank you Lord for these two perfect embryos that turned into these precious, sweet smelling, lovable, adorable babies that I seem to fall in love with more & more every day!! Those years of heartache were well worth it! I pray daily for my friends & blog friends that are struggling with infertility & and that they will soon be blessed with a baby of their own. It is all in God's timing, but like I have said before He has a 'perfect' plan for each & every one of us...just trust in HIM!!
