The Jumperoo!

Today was the first time either baby has actually 'jumped' in their jumperoo. Usually they sit in it & play or watch TV, but get bored fairly quickly. Cooper finally figured out that if you jump...it's actually fun! I am not joking....he jumped in it for nearly 2 hours today without one whine, fuss, or cry!

Our Little Firefighters!!!

Do you remember this surprise baby shower that Michael's fire department through for us before the babies were born? Remember the one in which I had no makeup on...the one that I looked h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e???? Yeah, that was that one!! Do you remember the cute firefighter outfits that the department got for the babies? Well, here they are...aren't they precious? I was hoping the babies could wear them for Halloween, but no such luck! They will be too small very soon!

We LOVE Green Beans!!!

These pictures were from last night when we tried green beans for the first time! They weren't too sure about it in the video, but really seemed to like them by the end. Tonight we tried them again & they were like little birdies wanting more & more! I don't think we are going to have picky eaters at all...or at least I hope so!

Our Visitor

Tonight, Michael was mowing our back pasture at our house. There is one part behind our pond that stays really wet all the time. He hasn't mowed in a long time because of all the rain we have been getting lately. It was still extremely wet, but he decided to mow it anyway since it was about knee high. You can see this nasty area behind the dogs in the first picture.  As he was mowing he kept seeing snakes come out of the tall grass so he went & got his gun. The babies & I happened to be walking outside when he yelled at us to come see the snake he had just killed. As soon as he shoots something in the pond, our dogs, Drake & Rudy, immediately jump in to retrieve whatever he has just shot. Drake, our yellow lab, retrieved this huge snake tonight! Look at that huge thing...it gave me chills to even get close to that thing!!!

Looks like someone just ate dinner...please excuse my hubby's sound-proof ear muff things on his head & his boots outside his jeans!!

Retirement Party

Last night, my Mom's coworkers threw a retirement party for the retirees at their school. My dad has pneumonia (please pray that he starts feeling better soon!) and couldn't go, so we picked up Mom on our way. She said she didn't feel good on the way & once we arrived, she started throwing up. Poor thing...she threw up several times & was miserable during her own retirement party...I felt so sorry for her! We think she might have had food poisoning from lunch. Needless to say, she left early & went home. So...I didn't get many pictures! However, I snapped a few before we left home! The babies looked so cute!!

Happy Birthday Travis & Little Miss Harper

Today was my BIL 21st birthday!  We went to the in-laws house for a birthday celebration tonight! Travis was surprised with a trip to Las Vegas next week! How much fun?? I wish I could hide in his suitcase...I wanna go too!!!

I also got to meet Miss Harper Faith today. We go to church with her family...she is 5 days old & is the most precious little thing. She seemed so tiny, but C&H were actually a couple of pounds lighter than her at birth...hard for me to imagine!!! Look at all that hair....Congrats Cissie & Gary & Hailey & Hannah!!! She is beautiful!!
