Happy Birthday Sophie!

This past weekend, my youngest niece, Sophie, turned 9 and had a skating party. It was so much fun seeing her with all her friends having fun and watching C&H have a blast running around the skating rink! They had to whole place rented so I didn't have to worry about them getting lost...they just ran free the entire time! My niece put skates on Hadley for about 5 minutes, but she was having more fun just running around, so we didn't even attempt with Cooper...he was too busy pushing the walkers around to even care about skates!

Our Last Snow

No, it's not snowing here again...thank goodness! Just trying to get the ole' blog updated even though these pictures are out of order! These are from the beginning of February when we got our second big snow of the year. I had my camera on the manuel setting (which I obviously have no idea how to use) and all my pictures looked way overexposed, but I saved a few cute ones that I thought I would share!

Fun Day at the Park

After all the snow we have gotten lately, the weather has finally turned nice enough to enjoy being outside! Last Sunday, we decided to go get lunch and go to the park for a picnic, hike, and playtime! We all had such a fun time! Here are a few pics from our day!

They made me so nervous climbing up this, but they both wanted to do it by themselves! They are getting so big!

Snowed In

Over the past few weeks, we have been snowed in several times. It takes a lot to keep two two-year olds entertained all day and I think I might loose my mind if we can't get out of this house tomorrow! Don't get me wrong...I LOVE being a stay-at-home mom, but we love to get out and go places during the day! Here are just a few things we have been doing to stay busy!

This is probably C&H's favorite toy they got for Christmas...they recently realized that H can ride on the back while C drives...so there is no more fighting about whose turn it is!!!! :)

We made 'snow cream' during our last snow....C&H (& Mommy too) LOVED it!

I came across these watercolor books they got before Christmas. I didn't have any paintbrushes, so we improvised and used Q-tips...worked great & they didn't know the difference!

We colored ALOT....and not only on the paper!!! :0

We played with Play-doh for hours one day...

They sat on their pottys alot!

We took bubble baths in Mommy & Daddy's big tub! They had so much fun!

I saw this post from Erin at "Home Sweet Home" and decided to try it with C&H. Why did I never think to let them play in the water, but they LOVED it! I filled the sink with soapy water and gave them a few cups and spoons and let them go to town! They kept saying they were 'cooking'! I love watching their imaginations go crazy!

Lets pray for some clear roads tomorrow!!!!

Silly Girl!

I can't help but laugh at Hadley on a daily basis! The other day we were all playing in the playroom, and she said, 'bye, Mama" and waved as she walked out of the room and shut the door. I grabbed my camera because her she was cracking me up! Notice her hat, scarf, new shoes, bracelet (rubberband), purse, cell phone, and Woody doll!

She had to take a second and call her Daddy to see when he was coming home.

She is so serious about her cell phones lately...

She even tried to put it in her diaper as she was leaving....I guess she see Daddy put his on his belt and was trying to do the same!

And when she couldn't put in her diaper, she just opted for her purse!

And she was off...

She grabbed Woody and a chair for him and began to make him lunch!

She even had a snack for herself!

SILLY girl! Not sure what I would do with out her!
