I'm 29 on the 29th!!
Happy Birthday to me!! I am 29 today...only one more year till the BIG 3-0! No big plans for the day...hubby has a meeting tonight, so I'll be alone with the babies again! No complaints from me though...I am staying in & staying warm! I am extremely tired today anyway...I had a little meltdown last night with the babies. We were up all night! I finally got them settled and asleep in my lap around 4:00 this morning, set them down in their crib & both were screaming immediately...and then I started crying! I know some people deal with this every night, but I am so not used to it! I am not talking just crying, I am talking unconsolable screaming!!! I am not sure what is wrong, but hopefully tonight will be a little better! Say a little prayer for us!!!

It will get better. I've never raised a set of twins but have had two newborns and I've been there myself many a time. You are in my prayers. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you have an excellent day!

oh how i remember those nites.... and i only have one baby! when you have nites like that, just try and remember that it won't be like this for long!! they all have a bad night every now and then.

Will pray that whatever was bothering the babies last night will go away and they can have a peaceful restful sleep, allowing you to get a bit of shut eye too.
I know how frustrating it can be because they are unhappy or hurting and still they can't tell us what they really want.
Perhaps they just wanted a little extra cuddling from Mom and wanted to be held.
Will pray that God gives you the strength to deal with situations as they arrive and not frustrate you.
Do try and stay warm, it is cold outside.

Hi, we haven't met - but I think we live pretty close to each other. I follow your blog through Lesli Alder's blog. I have a 5 yr old daughter and 3 yr old twin boys..Hang in there!! Believe me I know what your going through-you will get through it-and things do get better..I wish you a peaceful nite and very happy birthday..
Have you tried Mylacon drops? (I think that is how you spell it.) They might have a little gas. I hope this helps!

I could not imagine doing what you are doing! I had one already and had MMMMMANNNY meltdowns. I couldn't do it times 2! Just, don't let the fact that you had a meltdown make you feel worse. That doesn't help anyone! Babies have bad nights, and so do we. I will be praying for you!

As goes for the crying... I wish I could come over and help you. I remember when Cameron was born and he would have a couple nights like that (not many, but a few) and I remember that I would have given anyone to come in and help me. You just get so tired and worn out and it is hard, but let me just say that it gets better. At least it got better for me and I had one little one. You wonder if they have gas? Might be something to check into, but I know that there are things out there that could help with gas buildup in babies and if that could help them and help you then it is worth a try.

aww... those nights are the worst! and the screaming of a newborn is the hardest sound to hear... i can't imagine 2! hope you get some rest tonight. Jackson was born at 35 weeks... he was such a "silent" preemie those first few weeks and then its like he just woke up one day and fussed, cried, screamed and i thought i was doing something wrong! it will get easier!
