Using Spoons!

I have given C&H spoons several times in the past and all they do is play with it, but I know the only way they will learn is to continue giving them one to use. I gave them a bowl of yogurt with a blueberry bagel for breakfast this morning and it's like they knew exactly what to do...finally! I did have a mess to clean up, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!! I had to grab my video camera really quick! I think we have a lefty and a righty on our hands. Hadley is definitely right handed...Cooper goes back and forth between hands, but has always used his left more!
Look at that concentration!

Last Week!

Here are some pics that were taken last week, but I haven't had a chance to post. Hadley got ahold of my Sonic slush & would not give it back! She LOVED it! Cooper is really into drawing with chalk lately and pushing the umbrella stroller non-stop! Hadley has even hitched a few rides!!

What a Mess!!!

I just want to apologize for the mess I have had with my blog this past week! I know I said I wasn't going private until Monday, but after all this happened my mind seems to 'think' more like a criminal! haha! I just kept thinking if I left my blog public all weekend, whomever did this would have all weekend to copy the rest of my pics, if they already haven't. Anyways, I just felt more comfortable taking it private earlier than stated. I was away from my computer all weekend for a much needed girls weekend, so that is why I am just now getting around to sending out invites. You all were probably thinking you all didn't make the 100-cut, weren't you? So sorry! I hope to get back to posting regularly very soon!

Discouraged...and going private!

As much as I hate to...I have decided to make my blog private! I have been a victim of identity theft...actually my whole family has. Without going into any details on here...I have to protect my family from the pshyco people in the world that have nothing better to do in life than to screw with other people's families! I have weighed my different options all week and I feel like going private is the best option for my family. I will be able to know exactly who is reading my blog & that makes me feel so much better about this situation. This just makes me want to cry & scream at the same time...I feel so violated that someone would do this! If you are one of the ones who contacted me about this situation, thank you so much! No telling how long this has been going on, but because of you...it's stopping...thank you! And to all of you out there with blogs...please take all precautions against this! I never thought I would make my blog private and have to limit my readers...until it happened to me! This blog started off being so therapeutic for me when I was struggling with infertility and has become basically a baby book for my children and for some random person on the internet to steal our identity...just makes me sick! So if you love reading my blog and want to continue, please click on the 'email me' button on the right side bar and let me know. As of Monday, May 17 we will be private and you will have to have a invitation to read my blog. I hate to have to go to all this trouble, and I hope you all understand. I can only have 100 readers, so I will determine on Monday who my readers will be. Of course, family and friends will be the first on the list, but please don't let that discourage you from emailing me!

Mother's Day Weekend 2010

Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs...since the payment is pure love.

~Mildred B. Vermont

Mother's Day...growing up, I remember showering my Mom with presents and making her feel special on her special day. As I got married and started trying to have a family, I grew to despise Mother's Day. It was always just a reminder of how badly I wanted to be a Mommy...but couldn't. However, over the past few years, it is becoming one of my favorite holidays. In 2008, we shared the news with our families that we were expecting after such a long journey...it was amazing! In 2009, I celebrated my two sweet 4 month old babies....I had never felt so special in my life that God had picked me to be Cooper & Hadley's Mommy. This year was no different...Mother's Day has become a special place in my heart. It is now a reminder of unconditional love like I never had imagined. I never knew with kind of love existed! I prayed yesterday for all the women out there who dread Mother's Day like I used to. I prayed that they would have peace in their hearts and hope that they one day will be able to celebrate as a Mother! I also prayed for those who had lost there Mother! I am so fortunate to be able to celebrate my Mom, my Mother-in-Law, & two grandmothers. I am so lucky to have a Mom of my own who loves my unconditionally and would stop what she is doing at any second to help me with anything! Thanks Mom for being such a wonderful friend and Mother! I love you!

On Saturday night, my sister and her family had us over for a picnic. The weather was perfect & we sat on blankets and ate fried chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and brownies! The babies had a blast...we will definitely have to do that again!

IC Spring Carnival 2010

Last night, MoMo, Josh, & Braxton invited us to go the IC Spring Carnival with them! We had so much fun! Thanks for inviting us guys!

Cooper sat in the stroller the entire time and never made a peep! He was an ANGEL!!! He was content munching on a hot dog all night and checking out all the people!!!
Photobucket
Hadley, on the otherhand, wanted down to run the entire time! She wore me out...she didn't want in the stroller, didn't want to be carried, and didn't want to hold anyone's hand. She wanted to run free! At one point, we were watching Braxton slide on this big blowup slide and she threw a fit to slide. This high school girl who was working volunteered to take her up to slide! She LOVED it! She went down 3 times & was not a happy camper when it was time to go! (sorry this is sideways!!!)
We got home right around their bedtime, but they were so wound up that we decided to just let them play in the yard and in the barn for a while! They slept in about an hour later this morning...it was great!
