Easter '10-Part 1

What a wonderful day spending time with family...what could be better...I just wish every weekend was a holiday! We celebrated Easter a little early today with my side of the family. We had them all over for lunch & an egg hunt (we missed you Kyle, Becky, Drew & AK!!) By the time everyone arrived C&H were getting fussy, so once they ate, they went down for their nap while we finished our lunch! We had a yummy lunch of ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, fruit salad, deviled eggs, rolls, pecan pie, & these cute little cupcakes!!

We let my nieces go ahead & hunt eggs while the babies slept since they wouldn't really know what was going on anyways this year. They came prepared with their rain boots after all the rain we had the past few days...isn't this the cutest???

And then Miss Priss woke up after only about a 45 minute nap...she knew there was fun to be had outside & couldn't stand it! We laid out of the eggs on the back patio & let her go to town! She loved it!

After sleeping till 9:15 this morning (which is unheard of at our house these days) and a 2 1/2 hour nap, I decided to wake Mr. Cooper up since he was missing out on all the festivities!

He was cranky we woke him up at first, but once he saw the eggs he perked right up...

...and was running around in no time!

Did you notice Miss Hadley's wardrobe change in the last picture? We had to try on our new Matilda Jane clothes today...they were simply too cute to take off....how adorable is this?? I seriously don't think you can get any cuter??

We are off to church in the morning & celebrating with Michael's family tomorrow! More pics to come...I am sure! Happy Easter!
