Feeling better!

It was gorgeous outside today and Cooper was feeling better this afternoon after his almost 4 hour nap, so we went out and enjoyed it! Unfortunately, I really think Hadley has allergies. She has sneezed & coughed all day long & her poor nose is running so bad. She had a rough time going to sleep tonight because of all the congestion. Can kids this young go on allergy medicine? Hopefully, we can get that cleared up really soon! OK, back to our gorgeous day...take a look at this...BEAUTIFUL!

So glad to hear Cooper is feeling better! Nothing makes you feel worse than seeing your kids not feel well! I do believe little ones can be on allergy meds- our pediatrician gave us some samples of Singular granules that you sprinkle in their food or drink. They think of everything!

Glad that Cooper is better!! I'm pretty sure they can be on allergy medicine this young. I have a friend whose little boy has been on allergy meds since he turned one!

Glad your little man is better and able to enjoy this beautiful weather. My son just turned 2 at the end of March. He has allergies. He is on Zyrtec once a day. We only do it when everything is blooming. If for someone reason it catches us off guard and we haven't started on it and his nose starts to run we immedietly start the zyrtec in the morning and then give benadryl at night. This has been the best for him. We do that for no more than a week and normally his nose drys right up.

Hopefully the doctor can do something for her. I have allergies and they are not fun...

Such cute pictures!! Yes, children Hadley's age can have allergies and be on medicine for them. My son Luke started having allergy problems his frist Spring {he was about 10 months old.} Our Dr. gave him Singulair granules that you mix in with food and now he takes the chewables. Enjoy the sunshine!!

Abby Lu has been on Allergra since before turning one, so definetely Hadley isn't too young.

YES, they definitely have allergy meds for kiddos this young. My MO has been on Allegra for almost a year and she'll be 2 in a few weeks. There is also Zyrtec, Singulair and a few others that are safe - just have to find the right one that fits H! Good luck and soooo glad C is feeling better!

We are loving the warm weather too! Anniston just LOVES to be outside. She is 7 1/2 months old and is having allergy issues already. Our ped told us to give her 1/2 a tsp of children's Zyrtec in the evening. She mentioned that it could make Anniston hyper so to make sure we give it to her early enough before bedtime for the hyperness to wear off. We are starting it this weekend so hopefully it will work!

Glad to hear Cooper is feeling better!

Sweet precious babies :) To answer your question YES little ones can be prescribed for allergies. Zyrtec and Singulair ring a bell. I would contact their pedi to ask.

E has allergies. I only treat it w/ some benadryl to dry up her runny nose. She's been waking up in the middle of the night coughing. but, they are seasonal and hopefully this ends soon. I probably won't bother w/ allergy meds. Hope H feels better!

YES they can be on allergy medicine! Addi takes Allegra at morning and at night and Singulair at night. They are both prescription...ask your doctor about it! It has made all the difference!!

Luke was on Zyrtec at that age. Very small dose the doc recommended.
