An appleseed - Week 5

Our embryo (looking kind of like a tadpole) is starting to form major organs (heart, kidney, liver, stomach) and systems (nervous, circulatory, digestive). Baby's presence in my uterus triggers production of HCG which triggers production of other hormones like estrogen and progesterone... which trigger all those great pregnancy symptoms!

I just happened upon your blog when I accidentally hit next blog... I just had to comment. (that and we have the same music taste) My dear friend dealt with infertility for over 6 years and on the third try of IVF, she became pregnant with twins. She just gave birth to 2 healthy and beautiful boys in January. Best of luck to you and your little miracle.

Hey girl! Love your baby widget! I just found out today that my hair stylist (and her husband, of course) had success with their first IVF cycle! She goes next week also to see if it's one bean or two! Hope you're feeling great, and can't wait to hear your bean-count next week! :-)

I HOPE THAT YOU DO NOT THINK THAT I AM TO TOTALLY CRAZY! JESSICA MEINARDUS WATCHES MY BABY AND SINCE SHE TOLD ME ABOUT YOU MONTHS AGO, I FIND MY SELF CONSTANTLY CHECKING YOUR BLOG ON A DAILY BASIS. I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW HAPPY THAT I AM THAT YOU ARE FINALLY EXPERIENCING ONE OF THE TRUEST MIRACLES IN LIFE. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO EXPLAIN THE FEELING THAT YOU WILL FEEL WHEN YOU SEE THAT BABY (OR BABIES :) ) FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT IS A MAGICAL MOMENT. THE BEST ADVICE THAT I CAN THINK TO OFFER IS TO SAVOR EVERY MOMENT. TAKE MILLIONS OF PICTURES EVEN WHILE YOU ARE PREGNANT. THAT IS THE ONE THING I DONT HAVE MANY PICTURES OF. MY LITTLE MADISON WILL TURN ONE YEAR OLD NEXT TUESDAY AND I HARDLY REMEMBER BEING PREGNANT (CRAZY AS TAHT MAY SOUND). I WISH YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND ALL THE BEST OF LUCK IN THIS WONDERFUL JOURNEY THAT YOU HAVE JUST BEGAN. I KNOW IT MAY NOT MAKE SENSE NOW BUT THE LORD KNEW WHAT HE HAD PLANNED FOR YOU. HE WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!! GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS.

That is so amazing! I'm sure it seems so surreal at this point. Hopefully it will be that way the entire pregnancy so that you will never get tired of it or wish for it to be over.

LOL, I have that widget on my myspace page. Crazy to remember when she was that small. Back then I remember Heidi saying to me "I can't wait for this little one to get here" and I used to think "there's no way I'm ready yet.." OMG, it won't take long. I think pregnancy should be 6 months. LOL. These last few months are a BEATING... but it will be so worth it when she gets here. Good luck to you and Michael at the appt next week!
