After 32 years of teaching school, my Mom is retiring at the end of the school year! She is SO excited & so am I! We met in her classroom yesterday to go through the millions of books she has accumulated over the years! It brought back so many memories because I kept coming across books that I remember reading when I was a little girl...sure enough, I would open them up & there was my name. I am so happy to have these back so that my kids can read them some day! Look at all these...& she just called & said I left a stack in her room, so there are even more!!
All of these are Bernstein Bears books...I L.O.V.E.D these books...does anyone else remember these??
And my all time favorite book ever...Love You Forever....by Robert Munch...you must read this if you haven't ever!!!

Oh how I love children's books. What a wonderful gift to have for your babies!!
OMGosh, I loved the Berenstain Bears books and still love them today. I always use to wonder when I was younger what it would have been like living in their home (lol). What great books and memories! I love story time with Cameron...great times to cherish always.
The Bernstein bears are my ultimate favorite!!! I loved the books and the episodes. LOVE THEM! I also loved the "I love you forever" book, I remember it was kind of sad but I need to refresh my memory about it. My mom is also a teacher, and I just might have to go borrow some books! Thanks for sharing. Your babies are so beautiful.

I just started reading your blog the other day! You children are absolutely precious! Twins are fun, well it is fun being a twin... I am an identical twin even though we aren't that identical anymore...
I remember all of those! I loved the Bernstein Bears too!
Oh that is so sweet! I am a huge fan of the Bernstein Bears and we read those several times per week at our house!
How funny you mentioned Berenstain bears - I just finished reading two of them to Luke for bedtime. I ate those books up as a little kid!
It's sad to hear your mom is retiring- it's like the end of an era or something. I wish her all the best in her retirement!
Keep up the great work on your blog, mk! I really love watching your little ones grow.

The Berenstain Bears were one of my favorites...my husbands too! Thanks for reminding us what great books there were and are for us to share with our little ones.
I just read my 3 year old daughter The Berenstain bears and the trouble with Chores. We read them all the time and she loved the show too.
UMMM OF COURSE I remember The Berenstein Bears! I am so going to buy all of them for my boys! Favorite all time books!
I had all of the Berenstein Bears books when we were little - and I made my parents keep them for my future children. "Love you Forever" always makes me cry!
Love you forever, is my favorite childhood book and we have two copies for our kids! :)
Those were my absolute favorite books! I can remember every time we would go to the mall I would BEG for one!! Hannah Noelle calls Love You Forever the potty training book! I love it when she says that!!
love u forever is my sons FAVORITE of all times
Hey Girl,
Just gor reattached to cyber world and was catching up on your posts. The boys adore the Bearnstein Bears! They love the one about not keeping their room clean and Mama Bear goes nuts, throwing away all of the kids' toys. Finally, she and Papa Bear help them organize, clean, and build new shelves for their stuff. Cute...
I am still very disturbed by the Love You Forever book. Someone bought it for Braden when he was born and I am creeped out by the part where the MAN climbs in his mother's window...weird. Guess I don't see it like everyone else, but if my grown sons ever try to climb in my window, there's gonna' be trouble! :0) That's like my aversion to Yo Gabba Gabba...no thank you!
